akmagic are a small press publisher of British folklore.

Lanyon Quoit We aim to produce both original and reprinted works on all aspects of British folk customs and beliefs. Our list of titles encompasses both works dealing with the ancient sites of Britain and the remarkable pagan traditions and beliefs which thrived in this area right into the 20th century.

Many of our titles are reprints of works from the last century, produced by a number of scholars who collected stories, traditions and customs at first hand. We believe that these pioneering works should be given another airing.

We are proud to launch a new imprint: OAKLEAF BOOKS. This exciting venture will include a much wider variety of books on folklore, encompassing different counties of Britain.
